Second autopsy finds Andrea’s cause of death | Extra News

The kidnapping victim, Andrea Bharatt, was hit by a blunt object in the forehead, causing her to fall. The impact resulted in a skull fracture and internal bleeding.

This is according to activist Inshan Ishmael, who along with two other people covered the costs of a private autopsy.

An autopsy performed at the Forensic Science Center on Monday was unable to determine how Bharatt died.

The second autopsy was conducted by Professor Hubert Daisely at the Boodoo funeral home in Cunupia.

Saying he wanted the thousands of people who supported Bharatt and his family to know the truth, Ishmael revealed the autopsy findings in a live video on social media this afternoon.

He said: “As we promised yesterday, I was not satisfied with the inconclusive report we received from the pathologist yesterday regarding something like this. In fact, I said yesterday that for me it is unlikely that after just a few days the report may be inconclusive.”

The findings were revealed to Bharatt’s father before they went public, he said.

Ishmael said: “I can say that Professor Daisley’s report is not inconclusive and he discovered the reason for her death. Andrea was hit in the forehead with something blunt and what caused it fell back and fractured the skull, causing internal bleeding . The entire area inside the skull you could see a reddish pink color … She died of internal bleeding. “

Ishmael said the pathologist also found puncture wounds on Bharatt’s arm. However, he said, Daisely was unable to say whether the injuries were caused at the first autopsy.

Samples were taken to determine whether Bharrat was sexually abused.

He said an examination of his stomach indicated that Bharatt was not fed or ate in the hours before his death.

“This is not my son and I feel that I am going through a trauma. I want Mr. Bharatt to know that we are with him and we will support him in that,” he said.

The Express was informed that both reports, the autopsy performed by the State and privately, would be admissible in the matter.
