SEC Announces Makeup Date for Kentucky-South Carolina

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky basketball will add a makeup game to their schedule as the season ends. The SEC announced on Thursday that South Carolina will travel to the Rupp Arena on March 6 to play against Kentucky. The game was originally scheduled for December 29, but was postponed due to COVID-19 problems in the South Carolina program. With this news, the Wildcats will not resume their previously postponed dispute against Texas A&M. The Aggies have not played since January 30.

Kentucky (8-13) now has three games remaining from the regular season. Delivery is scheduled for 4 pm Saturday against Florida. The Wildcats defeated Florida 76-58 in Gainesville on 9 January. “The Southeast Conference today announced the men’s basketball clashes for the final weekend of the league game. Six games will be played on Saturday, March 6, and one on Sunday, March 7. Five of the games are rescheduled games that have been postponed throughout the season. Two are new games that mirror the site of previous matches to help balance the team’s calendars at home and away.

Alabama’s game in Georgia on Saturday, March 6, will be at 2 pm Eastern Time and will be available on CBS. The start times and network designations for all other games that weekend will be announced later. ”
