Fran Goldman said it was a nuisance to get an appointment for the vaccine, but that was a priority for her, as she wanted to see her grandchildren after months in quarantine.

“I was spending a lot of my time trying to get a vaccination appointment and finally on Friday afternoon, I got one, Goldman told Q13 FOX in Seattle.” I woke up on Saturday with all the snow and thought ‘uh Oh’. I know that our driveway is inaccessible in the snow. “
Parts of Seattle were covered by nearly six inches of snow after a winter storm swept the area over the weekend.

Despite stormy conditions and dangerous chills, Goldman tried a practical walk from her home to a hospital 3 miles away on Saturday and got about two-thirds of the way before she was satisfied that she would be able to make the trip the next day.
On Sunday, she took the hike and arrived a little later than planned, but without any problems.
