Not everyone in the Seattle Seahawks’ 2017 recruiting class got off the list.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said that the initial center Ethan Pocic has agreed to a one-year contract worth $ 3 million.

Pocic was taken on the 2nd shift in 2017 and started as a guard. When Tom Cable was fired and Mike Solari became the new coach of the offensive line, Pocic failed to get a consistent playing time in 2018 and started just four games. In 2019, injuries interrupted him for much of the season, before replacing Justin Britt as the team’s number 1 pivot last season. It should be noted that Pocic lost two games with a concussion, but otherwise it was the healthiest he has ever had as a professional.
The cheap contract may suggest that he is not an obstacle to remaining the holder in 2021. You should remember that he was supposed to be competing with BJ Finney last season, only for Finney to appear out of shape and essentially give Pocic the job by default .
The moves of the Seattle offensive line so far have been to renew Pocic and replace him with guard Gabe Jackson, a veteran of the Las Vegas Raiders. One may wonder whether they will make more OL moves through free agency or the draft, but I would not make any declarative statements in any way on March 18.
