Season 9 of Apex Legends presents ‘a ton’ of Titanfall content

While we haven’t had a proper entry into the Titanfall series since 2016, the ninth season of Apex Legends should have “a ton of Titanfall coming back into the game, in one way or another.” The developers of Respawn’s Apex Legends appeared on a panel hosted by BrownGirlGamerCode and discussed how Titanfall fans have “some really cool stuff” to look forward to.

“In the next season, season 9, you’ll really see a ton of Titanfall coming back into the game, in one way or another,” promised Chad Grenier, director of Apex Legends. I’m a fan of Titanfall, wait for season 9 because there are going to be some really cool stuff there. “Apex senior writer Ashley Reed discussed how Apex Legends and Titanfall are intrinsically linked, and how this next step is simply a natural evolution.

“What is happening in Titanfall is a war, Apex is what happens after the war, what is life like in this place?” Reed explained. “So, we are trying to integrate Titanfall into this, because Titanfall is a part of the universe.”

Titanfall weapons and the huge Leviathans / Moyais have already been featured on Apex Legends, but that seems to be something much more. While anything is possible, those who expect real giant wicks to fall from the sky in the Apex should remember that Respawn previously mentioned that he “prototyped roughly a zillion ways to have titans in this game. The reality was that they were an incredible imbalance factor. “

Titans or not, there should be exciting news ahead for Titanfall and Apex Legends fans in the future, and some better news after Respawn’s comments in 2019 that it wasn’t currently working on Titanfall 3.
