Sean Penn wrote an inflamed letter to employees at his COVID-19 vaccination site in Los Angeles after two anonymous employees complained about the online operation.

On Friday, just after 8 pm, Penn, 60, sent an email to his CORE team to communicate his fury to two employees who criticized his operation in the comments section of a recent New York Times article. The LA Times obtained and published a copy of the email on Wednesday.
According to the LA Times, one employee said anonymously that the team was overwhelmed after LA Mayor Eric Garcetti moved the center from a COVID-19 test site to a vaccination center. The official complained about employees who work “18 hours a day, six days a week”, the report says, and “no opportunity to take breaks”. The commentator also said that Garcetti “more or less ordered” a violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules.
