The Seattle Seahawks are not happy with Russell Wilson after the veteran quarterback publicized his complaints to the team earlier this week, showing an increasing divide between the two sides.
The franchise is unhappy with several comments Wilson made a day earlier about his frustrations with the team and calls from other teams about an exchange, Dan Patrick, host of “The Dan Patrick Show”, said Wednesday, citing a source.

“A source told me that the Seahawks management is not happy with Russell Wilson and his team for bringing this to the media,” said Patrick. “You wonder if they will be able to coexist … the current situation is untenable. That’s what I was told.”
Wilson spoke during a video conference on Tuesday, when he complained about the lack of protection in the field.
“I love playing for (Seahawks), I love it for years and I put every game at risk and I’m dedicated to it,” Wilson said reporters. “The reality is that I find it frustrating to be there, watch the game and sit. Part of that, like any player, you never want to be hit, that is the reality of playing in this position, ask any quarterback who wants to play this game. at the same time, it’s part of the job. “

He continued: “I was definitely hit – I was fired almost 400 times. We need to improve.”
Wilson was asked if his frustration was with the franchise, to which he replied: “I am frustrated by taking too many hits.”
He said on “The Dan Patrick Show” earlier this week that he hopes to have a more “involved” role in the future, confirming that Seattle “definitely” received calls from other teams to see if he is available for exchange.
“I want to be involved. At the end of the day, it’s your legacy, your team’s legacy … It helps to be more involved. This dialogue should happen more often.”

Wilson, seven times Pro Bowler, had the best completion rate of his career at 68.8, to go along with 4,212 passing yards, 40 touchdowns and 13 interceptions for the Seahawks, which ended with a 12-4 record and a first place in the NFC West.
The Seahawks, however, suffered a 30-20 loss to Rams in the first round of the NFC playoffs, which ended the season.
Wilson has been fired at least 40 times in each of his last eight seasons.
