The Seattle Seahawks are looking for a new offensive coordinator.

Seattle has fired Brian Schottenheimer, who has been the offensive coordinator since 2018, the team announced today.

“Brian Schottenheimer is a fantastic person and trainer and we have been thanking him for the past three years. Citing philosophical differences, we parted ways, ”said the team statement.

Schottenheimer, 47, was also an offensive coordinator for the Jets and Rams, as well as a number of other assistant jobs. It will land somewhere, although considering how the Seattle attack stalled in the stretch in 2020, it can be difficult to sell as an offensive coordinator.

Now Seattle will try to find a coordinator who can execute an attack that takes full advantage of Russell Wilson’s skill set.
