Seahawks at 49ers (in Arizona)

They say that all good things should end, and that is true for the 2020 regular season. Newly minted NFC West champion Seattle Seahawks will end the regular season with a Week 17 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Interestingly, the Seahawks will return to Glendale, AZ to play against the Niners, as Santa Clara County, California, has banned football activity due to COVID-19 restrictions. Now Seattle has a chance to avenge his week 7 defeat to the Cardinals in Arizona with a victory over the Niners.

The Seahawks also have a chance to take revenge for San Francisco’s victory in Seattle in Week 17 last season, to secure the division title and number 1 in the NFC playoff.

Speaking of seed number 1, the Seahawks still have a remote chance of winning goodbye in the first round. They will need the help of Chicago and Carolina, however, to defeat the Packers and the Saints, respectively. Green Bay recently lost a star left match, David Bahktiari the injury, and New Orleans will be without its stable running back due to COVID-19.

Although, if the Panthers and Bears bring monumental twists, it will mean nothing if the Seahawks don’t take care of business against the 49ers.

San Francisco will once again be devastated by injuries, including its main recipients, linebacker Dre Greenlaw and ex-Seahawks star Richard Sherman.

Of course, the Seahawks shouldn’t be expecting a soft spot against an opponent deciding to lie down, waiting to enter the off-season. The 49ers are still playing hard and are incredibly well trained. San Francisco managed to upset the Cardinals last week, damaging their playoff prospects and would love nothing more to be with rival Seahawks for the last time.
