Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller showed in the NFC Championship Game that he has a lot of speed. He also has a lot of confidence.
Asked by Dan Patrick to compare himself to the Chiefs’ wide receiver, Tyreek Hill, Miller said he believed he would win a one-on-one foot race.
“I’m taking me every day of the week”Said Miller. “I will take control of anyone. Tyreek is an incredible talent, super fast and unbelievable. But if we are talking about a race, I have every confidence in myself to go against anyone. “
Asked if he considers himself the fastest player in the NFL, Miller said, “Yes, sir.”
Neither Miller nor Hill attended the Scouting Combine, so a valid comparison of their 40-yard dash times for them is hard to find. But Miller reportedly ran a 40-yard run of 4.39 seconds on his Pro Day, while Hill was reported to be 4.29 seconds. This seems to suggest that Miller is not exactly at Hill’s level. But if they want to run in the off season to prove which is the fastest, many fans will watch.
