Hello again. Friend of a friend. Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game – based on the hugely successful comic book series instead of the Edgar Wright film of the same name – is finally having a physical release, and is fiiiine. Featuring music by Anamanaguchi and visuals based on the original work of artist Bryan Lee O’Malley, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game was originally released in 2010 and is due to be re-released on the Switch on January 14.
To celebrate the launch of the game, Limited Run Games, Universal and Ubisoft created a physical version of the “Standard Edition”, a “Classic Edition”, which includes a shell box, a ticket to the show, a map, the soundtrack and a foil sticker, and the “KO Edition” that will come with everything from the Classic Edition, plus a hard roadie cover that contains a pop-up scene, work lights and music by Anamanaguchi, as well as drumsticks, guitar picks guitar, a set of stickers, an enamel pin and a guide.
The pre-order period for all three editions runs from January 15th to February 28th. The Standard Edition sells for $ 34.99 (~ £ 26), the Classic Edition for $ 54.99 (~ £ 40.50) and the KO Edition for $ 139.99 (~ £ 103). All versions of the game are “Full Edition”, which includes all DLCs from the original game.
