Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game was released today, almost ten years since its initial release. The fans were crazy about it, with “Scott Pilgrim” trend currently on Twitter. But comic book creator Bryan Lee O’Malley revealed that the game originally had a special DLC planned, until it was cut.

Clash at Demonhead (in honor of the NES game) is the band owned by Envy Adams, Scott’s ex, and Todd Ingram, Ramona’s vegan, as well as drummer Lynette. Envy and Lynette appear as sub-bosses in the game, and Todd – Ramona’s third ex-boyfriend that Scott needs to defeat – is the boss of World 3.

We could have playable villains! We could have had a chance to hit Scott Pilgrim! Oh well.

Envy Adams, incidentally, was played by Brie Larson in the film. You know, Brie Larson, fan of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, who wants to be the star of an Animal Crossing movie? The woman who takes Super Mario Galaxy very seriously? The actress who wants to make a Metroid movie? We can’t think of anything else she’s been in, but we love her.
