Last week, several retailers replenished the PlayStation 5 after incredible demand, but an Internet scalper managed to pre-order an impressive 2,000 units.
The money changer – who goes by the name of Carnage – went to Twitter to show off the pre-order of PS5 consoles from British retailer GAME, saying “It’s getting easier and easier”. Naturally, the Internet was outraged by the posting, as many players tried, but failed to guarantee pre-sales alone. Many criticized Carnage for his actions and expressed his dismay, one user said “At this point [it’s] there is no point trying more ”and another commenting that it is“ total shit ”.
Some users have also contacted GAME, requesting cancellation of pre-orders in the hope of preventing money changers like Carnage from taking advantage of the system, prompting a company spokesman to respond with an official statement explaining that all orders are subject to checks. “At the moment, these orders are still pre-orders and, as such, no payments have been made to customers,” said the spokesman. “Payments will start as soon as our order checks are completed.” However, there is no guarantee that Carnage’s orders will actually be canceled.
Butchery bots are better than ever at @GAMEdigitalPS5 stopped falling this morning. Really sad. I really want a PS5, but I refuse to finance money changers, so I’ll have to wait, it seems. pic.twitter.com/BsvMOwSyQZ

@GAMEHelps this morning at 10:09, when i click on the purchase of the digital PS5, i get a message saying sold out, although others are buying (including 2,000 bought through carnage bots). This is ridiculous, I arrived at 10 sharp and wasted time trying different methods

They can’t stop them, these carnage people are just going to find another loophole, it’s this type of person who is destroying websites for people who can’t access PS5, they need to have some respect for others
