Texas A&M Aggies are on the board, but we are still waiting for the South Carolina Gamecocks to respond. Three quarters entered and the A&M attack was really able to impose its will, dominating USC 34 to zero three quarters entered.

The Aggies are led by QB Kellen Mond, who has so far passed four TDs and 213 yards in 24 attempts, in addition to running for a TD and 34 yards.

A&M’s leadership is the biggest they have had this season going into the fourth period.

What to know

The South Carolina Gamecocks had a week off and are undoubtedly ready to return to the field. USC and Texas A&M Aggies will face off in a SEC battle at 7 pm ET on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium. A&M will be strutting after a victory while the Gamecocks will be reeling from defeat.

USC was reluctant to receive a nasty 52-24 stomach punch against the LSU Tigers two weeks ago. The USC was in a difficult position in the middle, with the score already at 31-10. One thing that prevented the USC was QB Collin Hill’s mediocre game, which did not have its best game: despite a touchdown, he launched an interception.

Meanwhile, the Aggies had a touchdown and a change to spare in the 42-31 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks last week. A&M QB Kellen Mond threw him as he passed three TDs and 260 yards in 26 attempts, as well as taking 32 yards on the ground.

Gamecocks need to know that they will fight a difficult battle due to the 10 point difference they are fighting. Those who were burned when choosing against the spread two weeks ago should keep in mind that the team has never lost consecutive games against the spread this season.

The USC suffered a terrible 30-6 loss to A&M when the two teams clashed in November last year. Perhaps the USC is luckier at home than on the road? Watch the contest and come back to CBS Sports for all the details.
