South Carolina lawmakers are pushing to make alcohol collection permanent at some companies in the state of Palmetto. If approved, people could order online and then go to a few supermarkets, retail chains and also large stores to pick up. A proposed bill would permanently allow companies to leave alcohol, beer and wine directly in the rear of their vehicle. Store employees, of course, would have to check the IDs. Supporters say it would relieve customers who don’t want to take children inside. At the moment, more than half of the states in the US permanently allow the collection of alcohol on the sidewalk.
