The South Carolina Highway Patrol is looking for information about a hit-and-run collision. The suspicious vehicle was traveling west toward Lockhart on SC-9W (Pinckney Road) near Mount Prospect Road. The vehicle hit a pedestrian and left the scene. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries.
The incident occurred around 6:15 am on Thursday, January 14, 2021.
The suspect was driving a 2005-2009 Ford Mustang of an unknown color. The vehicle must be damaged at the front end.
