SC Golf Association offers free application for golfers | sports

The South Carolina Golf Association has launched the MySCGA app for golfers, available to users of iOS and Android devices. The free app can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple’s app stores.

Golfers using MySCGA can upload their GHIN (Golf Handicap and Information Network) number to post scores and view statistics. The application also has an Events tab to enter tournaments or view a schedule, as well as other information. There is a News section along with a guide that features a directory of member clubs, the Palmetto Golfer Magazine, the Golf Rules, the SC Junior Golf Association and the SC Junior Golf Foundation and more.

City Four-Ball has waiting list

Registration has already been completed and there is a waiting list for players who wish to participate in this year’s Charleston City Four-Ball Championship.

The tournament, a 36-hole, four-ball championship, was not played in 2020 due to field renovations at Charleston Municipal. Matt Wood and Jeff Sullivan won the 2019 title with 64-68-132. The senior champions were Mike Mazza and Warren Peper with 64-67-131.
