‘Saved by the Bell’ Renewed for Season 2 – Return of the Peacock Rebirth

This requires a celebratory hamburger at The Max: Peacock renewed the Saved by the gong revival for a second 10-episode season, TVLine has learned.

The renewal takes place less than two months after the launch of the 1st season, which earned an average rating from the reader of “B-”.

“I am thrilled that Saved by the gong has been renewed, ”executive producer Tracey Wigfield said in a statement. “I’m amazed by all the love for the series and I can’t wait to go back and do more episodes. Hopefully, we will stay on Peacock for many more seasons and then, in 30 years, someone will reboot our reboot and invent threeboot. ”

In New Saved by the gong, California Governor Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) is in dire straits for shutting down many low-income high schools and then proposes to send affected students to schools with more resources in the state – including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives Bayside’s privileged children – including Zack and Kelly’s son Mac (Mitchell Hoog) and Jessie’s son Jamie (Belmont Cameli) – a much-needed dose of reality. Elizabeth Berkley Lauren and Mario Lopez are regulars on the series; Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen and Lark Voorhies appeal.

Completing the cast are newcomers to the Haskiri Velazquez franchise (as Daisy), Alycia Pascaul-Pena (as Aisha), Dexter Darden (as Devante), Josie Totah (as Lexi) and John Michael Higgins (as Principal Toddman).

TVLine’s Streaming Renewal Scorecard has been updated to reflect Saved by the gongSeason 2 application for. Are you looking forward to another year at Bayside?
