If you missed this year’s Super Bowl, then you missed an impressive number of commercials for Paramount Plus, the new streaming service that will launch on March 4. It will replace CBS All Access, adding more programs, movies and live TV to that service’s list.

Price: $ 6 per month or $ 60 annually for Limited Commercials plan, or $ 10 per month or $ 100 annually for No Commercials. These are competitive rates, according to what you would pay, say, Hulu.

However, for a limited time, there is a much better deal: Save 50% on any Paramount Plus annual plan when you apply the promotional code PARAMOUNTPLUS. Note that you will actually sign up for CBS All Access; your account will transition to the new service on March 4. This offer is available until March 3rd.

Your first year, then, will only cost $ 30 if you choose Limited Commercials; $ 50 if you follow the non-commercial route. (My two cents: life is too short to sit and watch ads. It’s worth an extra $ 20 to recover literally hours of time over the course of a year. This plan also offers the option to download programs for offline viewing .)

After the first year, you will begin to be charged at the standard rate – unless you cancel or can find another offer.

First announced last year, Paramount Plus will offer content from a variety of ViacomCBS brands. Available TV channels include MTV, BET, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and CBS, and the service will feature selections from the Paramount Pictures film studio. Live news and sports, as well as on-demand movies and TV shows, will also be available.

CBS All Access is already home to a wide variety of acclaimed originals, including The Good Fight, The Twilight Zone and an increasing number of programs from the Star Trek universe. The SpongeBob movie: Sponge on the Run will be released on March 4; an iCarly restart is in progress.

Thoughts? Are you willing to add one more streaming service to your list if you can get it for that price?
