Daniel Kaluuya shot the British royal family during his appearance as the host for “Saturday Night Live” this week.
British actor “Judas and the Black Messiah” was chosen to perform the show and swayed in his opening monologue with a joke about a claim made by Meghan Markle during her and Prince Harry’s recent explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
“First of all, I know that you’re listening to my accent and thinking, ‘Oh, no. He’s not black. He is british.’ Let me assure you that I am black. I am black and I am British, “he said.” Basically, I am what the royal family feared the baby would look like. ”

The joke was a reference to a part of Markle, who is kind of black, and to Winfrey’s interview in which the Duchess of Sussex revealed that there were “concerns and conversations” about “how dark” she and Harry’s firstborn son Archie, it would be before your birth. Although she did not elaborate on who had these concerns and conversations, Prince Harry told Oprah that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip did not participate.

The actor’s comments about racism in the UK did not stop there, as he continued his opening monologue, asking the crowd if they thought racism in America or Britain was worse.
“Let me put it this way,” he said. “British racism is so bad that whites left. They wanted to be free – free to create their own types of racism. That’s why they invented Australia, South Africa and Boston.”

The actor concluded his opening monologue by talking about his recent Golden Globe gaffe. Kaluuya won the award for his role in “Judas and the Black Messiah”, but unfortunately was silenced in Zoom’s call for his acceptance speech.
