‘Saturday Night Live’ announces John Krasinski as the first host of 2021

“Saturday Night Live” announced its first host patch for the new year.

First, making his debut at Studio 8H, is actor and director John Krasinski. His episode will air on Saturday, January 30th. The star of “The Office” will be accompanied by musical guest Machine Gun Kelly.

“Aaaaae pinch me. #SNL,” he tweeted on Friday.

On February 6, Emmy-winning actor and creator Dan Levy will make his debut accompanied by musical guest Phoebe Bridgers. “OMFG,” he tweeted.

And on February 13, Oscar winner Regina King will be the host and Nathaniel Rateliff will be the musical guest.

Krasinski was due to host in March 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic delayed the production of the series of nightly sketches.

“SNL” returned for its 46th season on October 3rd. 2020 presenters included Chris Rock, Bill Burr, Issa Rae, Adele, John Mulaney, Dave Chappelle, Jason Bateman, Timothée Chalamet and Kristen Wiig.

In the last show of “SNL” 2020, the show revealed cast member Alex Moffat as the new president of “SNL” Joe Biden – hours after comedian Jim Carrey announced on Twitter that he was retiring from his short stint as Biden .

Vice President Kamala Harris will still be played by Emmy winner Maya Rudolph, while main character Alec Baldwin will have to be replaced as former President Donald Trump.

“I can’t believe I was so happy to lose a job before!” Baldwin I wrote on twitter.
