Carrie Bradshaw would definitely approve Sarah Jessica Parker’s latest style hack. The actress and businesswoman stopped by her shoe store SJP Collection in New York on Sunday, wearing a sweatshirt that perfectly showed off her high heels.
Sweatpants are often so wide that the bottom covers the shoes or the elastic around the ankles is sometimes not fair enough and will fall off, rather than fit comfortably. But with Parker’s brilliant hack, the elastic bottom is up.
To make way for heels, for example, Parker wore thermal leggings under recycled cotton Pangaia sports pants, allowing tapered leggings to appear while sweatpants were cut above the ankles. The movement works almost like a sock, without actually covering the foot, and the sweatpants are adjusted correctly.
With this trick, Parker turned his $ 395 black “Hello Lover” leather shoes into the star of the comfortable outfit – proving once again that high heels are always the answer, even in combination with sweatpants. In addition, the legging hack is ideal for the colder months, giving the user additional warmth.
She completed the look with a long-sleeved T-shirt in shades of brown and a black mesh face mask.

“Heels still reign,” Parker told FN during the September cover photo at his downtown Manhattan boutique. “I think part of that is planning a future, which I think we all hope for, which is the opportunity to be together again, to have a reason to dress up or to feel that something special is being allowed.”
She continued to visit her stores in New York in the midst of the ongoing pandemic and encouraged her consumers to take risks with their shoes. Parker, however, does not consider herself a fashion expert.
“We always tell women when they walk into the store, when they ask what you can use it with, we say – you can use it with anything. In winter, you can use it with tubular socks. Or black tights or black wool tights, or leggings, or jeans, or sweatpants. Or a kilt. Or a dance skirt, ”she said. “I think we always try to tell people that there should be no rules.”

Last week, it was announced that Parker would reprise his role as Carrie Bradshaw in the HBO Max revival of “Sex and the City”. She will join Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbs) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte York) in 10 half-hour episodes.
