Sarah Jessica Parker probably knew that fans would ask about Kim Cattrall’s absence from the new “Sex and the City” trailer that was revealed on Sunday, and performer Carrie Bradshaw was certainly ready.
Immediately after Parker, 55, announced via a trailer for “And Just Like That …” that she would reprise her role as a trendy sex columnist in the original HBO Max title for HBO Max, fans flooded her with questions about the sassy character of “Filthy Rich” star Samantha Jones.
“I’m glad to see you back, but we’ll miss Kim / Samantha,” wrote a commentator, to which Parker replied, “We too. We loved her very much. X.”
Another commentator suggested that Parker and Cattrall, 64, “don’t like each other” and Parker quickly closed the idea, replying, “No. I don’t like her. I never said that. I never would. [sic] part of this story. But she will always be part of us. It doesn’t matter where we are or what we do. X. “

The iconic drama series, which ran from 1998 to 2004, will also feature Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte York), as well as Parker.
