Sarah Fuller, kicker who makes history, will participate in Biden’s presidential inauguration

Sarah Fuller, who became the first woman to play and score a point in a Power 5 college football game this season, will add another highlight to her resume on Wednesday.

On Sunday, ex-kicker Vanderbilt announced on Twitter that she is participating in Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration. She reportedly recorded a video for the opening last week at the Vanderbilt football stadium.

Fuller was asked to kick for the football team after COVID-19 passed some of the special team players on the team.

Fuller successfully performed an abortion kick during the team’s game against Missouri, and she scored two extra points in the loss to Tennessee.

Fuller caught the attention of athletes across the country and talked about being a role model for girls.

“I love it so much, it’s so amazing,” said Fuller. “When I went to a college game or watched older girls grow, I felt the same way and admired them. Now, being a college athlete and having that inspiration is really cool.”

Fuller, who was a goalkeeper for the Commodores women’s soccer team, announced last year that she would continue her college career in northern Texas.
