Those ones Animal Crossing: New Leaf-Sanrio collaboration amiibo cards, which previously were only available in Japan and the EU, will finally arrive in the United States on March 26. Nintendo announced its launch in the United States for the first time in January, but now the company is giving you an idea of what you can achieve when you snap up the collaboration package. The gaming giant posted videos on YouTube and Twitter showing villagers what you can add to your city, as well as Sanrio-themed items that you can buy at the game store by scanning amiibo cards.
There are six villagers that you can add to your city by scanning the cards, and each one gives you access to specific Sanrio items. The Rilla card adds Hello Kitty-themed furniture and wallpapers to the list of items you can buy, for example. You will also receive items based on My Melody, Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll and Kerokerokeroppi with other residents. Each theme has a different set on offer – Cinnamoroll items have tablets, umbrellas and signage for a cafe, while those with the Kerokerokeroppi theme include a bridge and koi pond for a Japanese garden.
