San Diego police declare ‘illegal meeting’ while Trump supporters, counter-protesters clash

San Diego police declared an assembly illegal while Trump supporters and counter-protesters clashed on Saturday, according to reports.

The protest also prompted police to warn residents to stay away from the Pacific Beach intersection “due to acts of violence”.

“Stones and bottles are being thrown at the police,” tweeted the police. “Pepper spray (CO) from the crowd is being spread against the police.”
