This year, Rockstar Games is launching an “expanded and enhanced” version of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online for PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Meanwhile, it is believed that it is also already working hard on GTA 6, which is probably compatible with PS5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X as well. That said, many GTA fans would love to see the developer return to previous releases. In San Andreas for Vice city, the entries from the past are begging for a remastering or remake, but at this point, it is foolish to expect Rockstar Games to return to those wells.
That said, while Rockstar Games may never return to these previous releases, YouTuber “XXII” has a new video for “Gta san Andreas Definitive Edition, “a trailer made by a fan who reimagines the game as a PS5 remaster.
As you can see, the trailer gives the game a visual update and, while far from perfect, it provides a taste of what a game remaster could look like. And as you would expect, all the main characters – CJ, Big Smoke, Ryder, Officer Frank Tenpenny, Kendl, Cesar and Sweet – are all present.
Although it is unlikely that Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive will remaster or remake GTA San Andreas, there’s a good chance that, along with some other nostalgic entries, it’s relaunched on PS5 just like it, Vice city, and more were released on the next generation PS4. That said, for now, this has not been confirmed. what GTA fans can expect this year to be an “expanded and enhanced” version of GTA 5, and who knows, maybe a GTA 6 reveal too.
