Samuel L Jackson gathers players in new Verizon Superbowl ad

Samuel L Jackson had a career that many Hollywood actors could only dream of, playing Nick Fury’s role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and countless other important roles throughout his many years of acting, and now, he has taken on a role that many played for a loop as he even met players in a Verizon ad aired during the Super Bowl! With Verizon creating an ad specifically geared towards players, Jackson is portrayed completely in CG, with the actor’s voice playing to motivate players to a big challenge!

The last time we saw Samuel L Jackson at the MCU, he was on board a spaceship during the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: away from home, apparently taking care of business far from Earth. With a Disney + series already foreseen in Secret Invasion who will star Samuel L Jackson and the Skrulls who were introduced in the film, Captain Marvel, it is clear that Nick Fury still has many adventures that are coming his way as a part of the world that brought the Avengers to stardom. Needless to say, Jackson is a good personality to deliver a battle cry to players.

The ad still ends with a reference to the film, Deep blue sea, who saw Jackson’s character unexpectedly eaten by a shark!
