Samsung’s 110 “and 99” micro-LED TVs will be available later this month, more models revealed

Samsung unveiled part of its 2021 TV line in January, including offers for micro-LED and Neo QLED. Today’s Unbox & Discover event brought even more models, including some for the artistic audience and some for their back porch.

micro-LED

Samsung introduced its first micro-LED TV in 2018 – the huge 146 ”TV (or larger, depending on the configuration) dubbed The Wall. Now that the technology has matured, the company has prepared three models most suitable for its common home.

Two micro-LED TVs – 110 “and 99” – will be launched globally in late March, followed by a smaller 88 “model in the fall. A (not really) tiny model of 76” is also on the cards, but there is not one concrete launch deadline.

Micro-LED TVs feature 4Vue (quad view), which allows them to function as four smaller TVs displaying content from four independent sources simultaneously.

Neo QLED

Samsung has divided its Neo QLED line into two series – the 8K models (QN800A and QN900A) and the 4K models (QN90A and QN85A). The 8K will be available in 85 “, 75” and 65 “and will cost between $ 5,000 to $ 9,000. The 4K will start at 50” and range from $ 1,600 to $ 5,000.

Microsoft chose Samsung as the official TV partner for the Xbox Series X in the United States and Canada. To this end, Samsung worked with AMD to create the first TVs with support for Freesync Premium Pro for consoles and PCs. Neo QLED TVs can run at 120 fps with a response time of 5.8 ms.

Super Ultra Wide Gameview mode puts the TV in an ultra-wide ratio similar to a game monitor. If you need more precise control, the Game Bar feature will allow you to adjust the aspect ratio, check the input delay, connect a wireless headset and more.

In addition to games, Samsung also sees these TVs as exercise tools – the Smart Trainer can use an optional camera (and AI) to analyze your posture and provide real-time feedback while watching instructional videos.

By the way, a few months ago Microsoft was saying that LG TVs are the best way to experience HDR games on the Xbox Series X.

The frame

Frame TV has been improved. This artistic model is perched on an easel, but with version 2021 you can use the Slim Fit wall mount (with five frame options) to hang it like a painting.

Speaking of which, the new model has 6 GB of storage for images (up to 0.5 GB), so it can store 1,200 photos in UHD quality. Samsung has partnered with NAVA Contemporary, Etsy and others to offer a growing library of more than 1,400 pieces of art that you can display at The Frame. An AI will learn what kind of art you like and offer suggestions.

Interactive display

The Samsung Interactive Display FLIP 75 ”is a digital whiteboard. It can be used in offices and classrooms by students or teams of up to 20 people. Previously, Samsung offered 85 ”, 65” and 55 ”models.
