Samsung is working on a Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, new evidence suggests

Samsung is apparently working on a new upper mid-range tablet that can eventually go on sale as the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite or even like the Galaxy Tab S8e. Details are scarce, but according to our sources, the tablet should ship in Wi-Fi, LTE and 5G variants with model numbers SM-T730, SM-T735and SM-T736B / SM-T736N, respectively.

It is not entirely clear whether these model numbers really correspond to the so-called Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, but we have been informed that the tablet in question is actually being worked on, so we hope to find out more soon.

A Galaxy Tab S7 Lite Plus / XL may also be on the way

The specs are missing for now and, to make things a little more confusing, other evidence suggests that Samsung may also be preparing another variant of the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite / Tab S8e that would carry the More and / or XL designation. If this model is really planned for launch, we are assuming that it will be more or less the same as the standard Lite variant, except that it will have a larger screen.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite at H1 2020, so it would make sense for the company to create a following, but given its ever-changing product line, it’s too early to say if or when exactly that can happen. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out more.
