Samsung’s next wireless headphones, the Galaxy Buds Pro, were leaked again in a YouTuber Digital Slang video. In addition to confirming the specifications of the headphones and giving us an idea of what they look like in the real word, the video also offers some first impressions about how they work. O YouTuber said he obtained the unannounced headphones through a seller on Facebook, where SamMobile reported that others are also selling them.
Echoing previous reports, Digital Slang says the headphones have an IPX7 dust and water resistance rating, support wireless charging and feature active noise cancellation. There is also a transparency mode that allows the user to hear what is going on around them while using the headphones. According to Digital Slang, the transparency mode of the headphones is among the best he has heard of a pair of headphones, but the noise cancellation falls short of what is offered by Apple’s AirPods Pro.

The practical video adds a series of details that leaked over the headphones last month. We saw renderings, 3D animations and even a reported price of $ 199 thanks to spec sheet leaked by WalkingCat. The battery life will apparently be up to 8 hours from the headphones themselves, increasing to 28 hours when combined with the charging case, putting them in an estimate similar to the specifications of Samsung’s true wireless headphones, the Galaxy Buds Live.
All signs point to Galaxy Buds Pro being revealed at Samsung’s next Unpacked event, which is now officially scheduled to take place on January 14th. Other devices expected at the event include the Galaxy S21 smartphone line, as well as Samsung’s Tile-type tracking devices.
