Samsung does not wait for CES next week to start its product announcements for 2021. On Wednesday, the South Korean electronics giant will broadcast live a virtual version of its annual First Look event. The invitation sent to reporters provokes a “new vision for the screens”.
Samsung traditionally uses CES as a place to update its televisions, although the invitation suggests that screens can go beyond traditional TVs, with silhouettes showing a variety of rectangles in different orientations and designs.
It is possible that the event will provide an update from the US to Samsung’s 110-inch MicroLED TV that went on sale in Korea in December for the equivalent of $ 156,000. Less expensive QLED models may also be close.

When is the event?
The First Look event will begin at 11am ET (8am PT) on 6 January.
How can I watch?
We will broadcast the live broadcast right here on CNET. Samsung will also be streaming the program on its website as well as on YouTube.
Is this the Galaxy S21?
It is unlikely. While there may be some provocations, Samsung is apparently saving the Galaxy S21 unveiled for next Thursday, January 14, when you’ll have a different live stream focused on your phones.
