The Miami Dolphins just ended a season in which the team scored 10-6, but lost the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season. Earlier this week, reports emerged that three unidentified players expressed concerns that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa may not be the right sign to lead the franchise.

During Thursday’s edition of “Nothing Personal with David Samson”, David Samson gave his opinion on the Miami Herald report and revealed how he would have handled the situation.

“If I am running Dolphins, I will have an immediate meeting with my GM and my trainer,” said Samson. “I’m identifying which players said this because I’m calling each one of them. ‘Am I missing something? Do you have a problem with Tua? Because you brought this here. Herald. You bring it to me. I’m the team president and I I want to know. Because I want to win games. ‘”

In the report, the players said they remained “hopeful” that Tagovailoa will improve in position as he becomes more comfortable with the team. However, unidentified players are not convinced that Tagovailoa can compete with players like Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson.

Samson believes that players cannot go to the media and provide them with information like this on the basis of the franchise. It will certainly be interesting to see if Tagovailoa will get the reins next season by coach Brian Flores.
