Salma Hayek impresses in photos as she celebrates 17 million Instagram followers

Salma Hayek is celebrating a milestone on social media: 17 million followers on Instagram.

The Oscar-nominated actress took the stage on Sunday to share the exciting news and let her fans know that she is “grateful” for her support.

“17 million, millones, millionaire, millions … !! #love #grateful # 17 #green”, she captioned the post with a green heart emoji.

Hayek shared a series of photos, which showed the star wearing a green dress with a deep neckline and side cutouts along with the caption.

Hayek, 54, complemented with a pearl necklace and earrings.

Another photo featured the word “Seventeen” written in capital letters on the sand.

Fans immediately went to the comments section to congratulate the star for his achievement on social media and for the incredible photos.

“Wow, well deserved dear !!” one person wrote.

In April, Hayek reflected on his appearance for decades in the spotlight and admitted that he used to have insecurities about his image.

“When I see pictures of me in my 30s or 40s, I look more beautiful than I did back then,” she told People magazine for “Beautiful Issue”, in which she shared images without makeup of herself. “I used to criticize myself a lot. Now, when I look in the mirror and have things I don’t see, I think about how much I will like myself 10 years from now.”
