Salma called in 2021 on an undisclosed beach vacation after squatting amid the new coronavirus pandemic underway with her French billionaire husband, François-Henri Pinault.
Pinault is CEO and president of the luxury fashion conglomerate Kering, which owns high fashion brands, including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen.

The couple is famous for secretly talking about their relationship, but revealed that they met during a luxurious gala in Italy in 2006.
They became engaged in 2007, about the same time they announced the pregnancy of Salma, daughter Valentina, now 13 years old.
The sumptuous nuptials took place on Valentine’s Day 2009 in Paris. They then renewed their vows two months later, in Venice.
