Saina Nehwal is one of the badminton stars in the country. Bollywood is making a biographical film about his life and Parineeti Chopra plays the main role in the film. Titled Saina, the movie teaser was released today on the internet. The trailer has all the right sensations of a sports drama that is enough to inspire viewers.
The movie teaser begins with Parineeti Chopra addressing various gender roles attributed to sons and daughters in our society. And then, we showed her playing strokes on a badminton court. Parineeti did enough research and homework before taking up this role. The actress got Saina’s suit, haircut and facial expressions properly.
The teaser also indicated that the film captures the ups and downs of Saina Nehwal’s life.
Manav Kaul will be seen rehearsing the role of Pullela Gopichand, Saina’s trainer. Gulshan Kumar & T-Series Films present the film, in partnership with Front Foot Pictures. Saina is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rasesh Shah. The biographical film, directed by Amole Gupte, starring Parineeti Chopra in and as SAINA, music by Amaal Mallik will be released on March 26, 2021.
