Sacred Bones will release a child’s new album, recorded inside the womb

Sacred Bones announced the release of the debut album by a new artist named Luca Yupanqui. If you have never heard of her, it is because she is just a child. His debut, Sounds of the unborn, was recorded while she was still in the womb, using “MIDI biosonic technology” to convert her movements into musical notes that were sent to different synthesizers. Luca’s parents are Psychic Ills bassist Elizabeth Hart and producer Iván Diaz Mathé, who has worked with Lee “Scratch” Perry. According to a press release, Sounds of the unborn it was recorded in five-hour sessions. During the editing and mixing process, the two “edited and mixed the results of the sessions, respecting the sounds as they were produced, trying to intervene as little as possible, allowing Luca’s message to exist in its raw form”.
