This pandemic award season was devoid of many things, including nominations for I can destroy you and Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic working on the red carpet for E! The former may have changed with today’s SAG Award nominations, but the latter does not seem likely, with Seacrest leaving his position as one of the E! Live from the red carpet hosts. Breaking the news on Instagram, the 14-year-old red carpet veteran wrote: “I decided to go on new adventures. I will miss the whole team that works so hard behind the scenes and, of course, my incredible partner Giuliana. Thank you all for watching all these years. ”Seacrest is the creator and executive producer of Following the Kardashians, which is also set to end in E! this year. Notably, Seacrest did not abandon his role on the red carpet in 2018, when he faced charges of sexual harassment amid Time’s Up’s Hollywood settlement.
Rancic, meanwhile, remains on the red carpet at E !. A toast to the red carpets coming back in time for her to speak to Christina Applegate again at this fall’s Emmy.
