Murphy, alongside “Glee” co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, promised to create a college fund for Naya’s son Josey after his tragic death.
Ryan Murphy didn’t wait long to answer after From Naya Rivera father, George, launched a war of insults directed at the “Happiness” creator of what he claims to be “broken promises” in relation to a promised fund for the college of Josey, Naya’s 5-year-old son.
It was clear from the start that George Rivera hoped to fan the flames, as he specifically posted, “Get the tweeters out of joy about it” when he started his campaign late Monday afternoon.

Responding to a nearly one-year topic about the promise of Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan to start a fund for Josey, George wrote, “Everyone needs to know what Ryan Murphy really did … or didn’t do !!! I’m about to blow this story up … and make sure he knows that I know …”
“When you’re part of the Hollywood elite, some people treat others as if they are ‘less than’ …. they vocalize a good game, but it’s as shallow as the stage sets they create,” he continuous. “Promises made in public, only to fade over time and excuses …. even in an inexplicable tragedy …”
He concluded your thoughts with the phrases, “Broken promises … false outrage … empty gestures … no phone calls.”
As you might expect, fans of the late “Glee” star, who died tragically while swimming with Josey on July 8, 2020, quickly became irritated, calling Murphy and others for lying about creating the fund.
Within an hour, Murphy jumped online to quickly correct the record, assuring the growing crowd among Naya fans that things are still happening on that front.

He reiterated that the top three remain determined to create the fund for Josey through the Naya Rivera estate. “We have been talking repeatedly with the appropriate executors of their assets,” he said.
In other words, although George may not have heard of the trio of Hollywood producers, that does not mean that things are not going on behind the scenes for that trust to be established in the name of Josey.
There are probably several executors of Naya’s estate, so it is possible that George is out of the question in this case.
Regardless of what is happening or not, the comings and goings brought Ryan Murphy’s name into the trend, and it seems that the first hour that George’s story had to boil and fan the flames of indignation was enough.
Even in the comments to Murphy’s explanation of the current situation at the bottom of the college, it was clear that insisting that everything was still progressing did little to change the vitriol that spread across the Twittersphere.
