A few weeks ago, Microsoft released what we believed to be Surface Pro 8, but it turned out to be Surface Pro 7, an updated Surface Pro 7 with the latest processors, removable SSD, larger battery and integrated LTE.
We believed it would be this year, but WindowsLatest reports, based on the ever popular “sources familiar with development,”That Microsoft is still looking to launch a consumer-facing Surface Pro 8 this year.
This device will also benefit from the latest processors and 32 GB of RAM, but unlike the Surface Pro 7+, it will also have an improved design, which we assume brings you closer to the stylish Surface Pro x.
If approved, Surface Pro 8 should be released in the fall. Microsoft is also working on a Surface Laptop 4, which features only updated internal components, scheduled to launch in April this year.
