A group of motorcycle bosses who associate with the famous DMX rap collective arrived to pay tribute to the man himself … which made for an incredible scene.
A FOX5 reporter was on the floor outside the White Plains hospital on Sunday where X is currently being treated after her overdose / heart attack – and she captured a large group of motorcyclists stopping on the street and gathering for what appeared to be a flash mob event.

It is unclear what exactly they planned, but what is clear is that they were there for X – several were swinging the ‘RR’ brand, which is linked to X’s pride and joy, the Ruff Ryders.
Ruff Ryders seems to encompass a wide community of members – and they seem to have a biker community as well, which would explain all the rotation we’ve heard going on here. The crowd was playing DMX music too … it looks like they are hoping that he and his loved ones can hear them from the inside.
It was a super sweet moment and it looks like another demonstration is coming. What it also says is the massive appeal of DMX among different audiences … he is a hip-hop legend, but his fan base is incredibly diverse, as you can see.
The Ruff Ryders came on the scene in the late 90s, when X released a hymn dedicated only to them. In the official music video, X employed a lot of motorcycles and motorcycle stunts, so he was definitely about this subculture at that time.
Ruff Ryders became its own record label and eventually … grew and became an entertainment company in general. It is not known how many people are officially affiliated today – but even today it is obvious, when they roll … they roll deep. Especially when it comes to supporting its founding members.
