Ruby Rose reacts to Kate Kane’s ‘Batwoman’ makeover with Wallis Day

Ruby Rose has “nothing but good vibes” about Bat WomanKate Kane’s makeover with Krypton Alum Wallis Day.

Given how Rose and the CW series abruptly parted ways after season 1 ended, season 2 caught on with the rise of Ryan Wilder (played by God Loved Me(Javicia Leslie) as a new Batwoman, in the wake of Kate Kane’s mysterious disappearance after a plane crash in Gotham. Following at least one false exit (in the hands of a cruel Safiyah), Kate reappeared in the March 21 episode, apparently unconscious in Gotham’s sewers and unrecognizable under heavy bandages – except for her revealing red necklace.

“Wallis Day is going to play our altered version of Kate Kane, and she is an incredible actress,” presenter Caroline Dries told TVLine. “I am excited for you to see the journey she faces.”

Rose on Monday afternoon responded to a fan tribute on Instagram to OG Kate Kane by attaching a comment, saying, “I’m sorry I didn’t congratulate Wallis Day yesterday. I knew about the cast beforehand and I didn’t know when [the episode] aired, so I forgot. But I’m happy for her! I am seeing all the things that I am marked with, sad people or wondering how I felt … I feel great, I have nothing but good vibes. “

Although it has been revealed that Kate Kane is still alive, everyone (including Alice, Sophie, Luke, Mary and Ryan) believes that she is dead, as body parts corresponding to her DNA have recently been recovered. The second half of season 2 will get to the heart of where she has been all this time and what it means for your character to move on.
