Ruby Rose Reacts to Batwoman’s Makeover Kate Kane – Deadline

On Sunday, Bat Woman showrunner Caroline Dries confirmed that actress Wallis Day would join the cast as Kate Kane, assuming the role previously played by Ruby Rose. And now, Rose accessed Instagram to share that she is “happy” for Day.

“I’m sorry I didn’t congratulate @wallisday yesterday,” said Rose on Instagram, in response to a photo in honor of her version of Kane. “I knew about the cast beforehand and I didn’t know when it aired, so I forgot.

“I’m seeing all the things that I’m marked with sad people or wondering how I felt,” she added. “I feel great [sic] I have nothing but good vibes. “

In season 1, Rose led the cast of the CW series, exploring Kane’s decision to become Batwoman, in the absence of her vigilant cousin, Bruce Wayne (also known as Batman). The reworking of her role had been anticipated for a long time, after she left the show at the end of season 1. With Rose out of the series, the second season revolved around a new Batwoman, Ryan Wilder (played by Javicia Leslie), and it was only last night – in the penultimate episode of season 2 – that Kane reappeared, his face full of bandages. Previously, the vigilante’s whereabouts were unknown, although it was noted that the character had disappeared after a plane crash.

Also starring Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Nicole Kang, Camrus Johnson and Dougray Scott, Bat Woman has already been chosen for a third season. Day has already starred as “Nyssa-Vex” in the drama Syfy Krypton.

On Rose’s part, there are at least four new projects coming up, all with resources: Magnus Martens’ SAS: Red Warning, The suspense of George Gallo Winning, Gallo’s drama The Legitimate Wiseguy and Kyle Newman’s comedy 1 UP.
