Roundup Rumor: Final Royal Rumble, spoiled surprises, John Cena’s return, more!

Speculating about the rumors surrounding professional wrestling is a favorite pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to watching the games. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors spread across the professional wrestling rumors factory.

Important reminder: rumors are just that – rumors. None of this has been confirmed as a fact, it is only circulating in the rumored factory of professional wrestling. Rumors of the day:

  • Whatever it is worth, WrestleVotes is saying that they have a source saying that there is an end to the male fight Royal Rumble in consideration that “scares the death of,” said the source.
  • Fightful Select notes that WWE has announced potential surprises such as Edge’s return to the Royal Rumble match ahead of time, as there will be no live fans in the building. If there were fans, they would not have announced it in advance.

  • By SK Wrestling, WrestleMania 37 it will be “a parade of ex-stars”, with a large number of ex-stars appearing at the event.
  • Ringside News says John Cena is a roadblock WrestleMania 37 this year. They also say that it is not clear who his opponent will be and that it is possible that he does not yet know who he is.

  • Dave Meltzer indicated on Wrestling Observer Radio that there are problems between WWE and ESPN after the announcement of the Peacock deal, as ESPN was in negotiations for the WWE Network. They can be done by displaying WWE content going forward.
