Roundtable presentation of the Xbox-Bethesda live broadcast announced for March 11

Leading members of the Xbox and Bethesda Softworks teams will discuss Microsoft’s recently confirmed acquisition of ZeniMax Media, Bethesda’s parent company, during a video roundtable broadcast live on Thursday. The event will start at 13h ET / 10h PT and will be broadcast on YouTube.

Described as “a conversation with top leaders celebrating Bethesda’s entry into Team Xbox,” the event will not be focused on game news and revelations, according to Xbox game general manager Aaron Greenberg. Instead, it will be “a great opportunity to learn more about Bethesda teams and people,” said Greenberg.

In other words, don’t expect the first images from Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield or The Elder Scrolls 6 to appear during the broadcast. (These games are still very, very far away.) Viewers can get more information about additional games published by Bethesda Softworks that arrive on the Xbox Game Pass. Some Bethesda games, like The evil within, never appeared on the service, while others (for example, Fanged, Doom, Fallout 4) came and went for Game Pass subscribers.

Microsoft officially confirmed the acquisition of ZeniMax Media for $ 7.5 billion on Monday, bringing the eight Bethesda Softworks-owned studios to the Xbox. Microsoft has also confirmed that some future Bethesda games will be exclusive to the Xbox and PC platforms.
