Merry Christmas, Star Wars fans! This week, we saw fun content about the Star Wars holiday, especially related to O Mandalorian. Lucasfilm showed off his adorable Christmas card featuring Grogu aka Baby Yoda and Din Djarin aka Mando on a sleigh ride, and they’re not the only ones channeling Disney + characters this holiday season. Rosario Dawson, who plays Ahsoka Tano, took to Instagram today to share a great image from @papa_palpatine_photography that shows Ahsoka, Grogu, Mando and a cheerful snowman.
“MERRY CHRISTMAS EVEryone! Via: @papa_palpatine_photography For all my family and friends. Merry Christmas 🎄 and have a Happy New Year,” wrote Dawson. You can check the image below:
During the live broadcast of Disney Investor Day last week, Kathleen Kennedy of Lucasfilm announced a series of new Disney + programs, including a series entitled Star Wars: Ahsoka, that will see Dawson continue to play the role that originated in the animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars. The show must match both O Mandalorian It is the next Star Wars: Rangers of the New Republic.
“I am very happy that [Ahsoka] lived, that we could continue growing with it. I think she is so special, ”Dawson told StarWars.com previously. “Many of the wonderful and impressive Jedi that we love and tell their stories are men, and you saw them older. When you saw Anakin grow up, it made a big difference.”
As for Grogu, Jon Favreau recently gave his blessing for using “Baby Yoda” in Good Morning America. “Everyone knows Grogu as ‘Baby Yoda’. Which, by the way, is good for all of us. We still call him Baby Yoda too, but he prefers to be called ‘Grogu’, if you notice on the show.
Now that a wide range of Baby Yoda products are finally available, fans of The Mandalorian celebrated the dear boy using toys and other items to cover his Christmas trees.
“The Christmas tree is a little new. But I love it,” said Favreau. “I think it’s because when we showed Baby Yoda for the first time … there was no merchandise for the entire first year. So people had to be ingenious. So, on Etsy, online, on social media, you would see people doing your own Baby Yoda stuff. So this kind of maintains that tradition. “
The first two seasons of Star Wars: the Mandalorian are now broadcasting on Disney +. If you haven’t signed up for Disney + yet, you can try it out here.
