Texas quarterback Deshaun Watson injured his elbow at the end of last week’s defeat by the Colts, but he is expected to play at the end of Sunday’s season against the Titans.
The signal caller was not listed on the injury report for the entire week.
“I hope he plays and helps us win,” said interim coach Romeo Crennel, via Aaron Reiss of TheAthletic.com. “If it were up to 50 in the range, maybe I will take it off. “
This is an unlikely scenario for a game Tennessee needs to win to win AFC South.
Watson has been a bright spot in an ugly season for Houston. He recorded career records in yards (4,458) and touchdowns (30). He is about to end a career high in completion percentage (70.1) and low in interceptions (six). Watson also leads the league with 8.8 yards per attempt and 12.6 yards per completion.
