Rod Stewart reduced his alcohol consumption and started boxing after a lifestyle overhaul following a recent knee and ankle procedure.

Music legend 76 recently had £ 8,000 ankle fusion surgery and a complete knee replacement after years of playing football took a toll on his body.

He said he still buys several bottles of alcohol after his music shows, but confirmed that it is actually to the delight of his bandmates.

Despite cutting down on alcohol consumption, Rod admitted to being “p **** d” at Buckingham Palace when he received his knighthood in 2016.
