Rocket League is coming to phones

Rocket League is coming to mobile devices. Rocket League Sideswipe is a new version of the multiplayer game that is going on iOS and Android devices, announced developer Psyonix on Wednesday.

Sideswipe will present all Rocket Leaguethe familiar action of automobile football, only slightly less. The game will feature 1v1 or 2v2 matches that will only last about two minutes each. Sideswipe it will also feature online multiplayer. Just like the original version of the game, Rocket League Sideswipe will be free to download and play.

Although most of the game is recognizable to anyone who plays Rocket League on other previous platforms, Psyonix is ​​introducing some changes to help make the game easier to play and control on mobile platforms. The game will feature slightly altered controls that have been optimized for mobile devices and a different camera perspective that should keep your car easy to track, even on small screens.

Psyonix does not have an official release date for Rocket League Sideswipe yet, but the developer says he hopes to release the game worldwide later this year. The developer also plans to launch betas and tests for the game in the near future. These tests will be divided by region and players from Australia and New Zealand will have their first chance to test the game starting on Wednesday.
