Robert Rodriguez Jams with Baby Yoda in the video The Mandalorian BTS
Earlier this week, Disney launched Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian Making of Season 2. Unlike last year, the studio produced only one hour-long episode covering the entire second attempt. Among the content of the second season of behind-the-scenes peeks of the show, there is also a glimpse of director Robert Rodriguez playing with the adorable Baby Yoda / Grogu doll. In the video, the director plays guitar on the set of the episode ‘The Tragedy’. The Child is enjoying and dancing at the right time, as if we no longer have enough reason to love Baby Yoda.
Luckily for the fans, Rodriguez posted the full clip on Twitter. You can watch it below.
Here is a Christmas gift for everyone who asked me what it’s like to hang out with Baby Yoda on the set of #TheMandalorian #The tragedy. Check out #DisneyGallery to learn more behind the scenes! pic.twitter.com/6ShINBxJAN

Rodriguez also directed the episode, making his The Mandalorian directorial debut. The episode saw Boba Fett’s official return to the screens after a brief tease at the season premiere. Shortly after the end of the second year season, Disney + announced that the fan favorite bounty hunter will have its own spin-off, Boba Fett’s Book. Rodriguez will executive produce the show along with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.
